Sojiji temple is located close to Tsurumi station and it’s in the center of Tsurumi ward.
Sojiji, 500,000 square meters big, is famous for accommodating over 3000 people in the main hall (dai- hondo). Tsurumi University, Tsurumi joint high school, and Tsurumi joint junior high school are located in the precinct of the temple. Throughout the year, Sojiji- temple welcomes both local and people from neighborhood to enjoy relaxing, walking with dogs, jogging, and other outdoor activities.
